Cornwall conducted a survey of Cattle Egrets in the county yesterday and came up with 100+ birds,  70 of them between the Lizard and Penzance. Perhaps our missing Toghill Farm birds, and many others, are trickling back to France.

8 Raven over Bishopston this morning at 7.30. All flying in a general W direction reasonably low in 2 close groups (6 + 2). The second group (of 2) began tumbling to roof top height!
