'Only second time in 25 years we have seen one in the garden.Since the heavy snow two weeks ago the numbers of birds feeding in the garden has consistently dropped 75% and variety of species seen daily in the garden dropped from consistent average 14 species to an average of 8. Plenty of food and variety, but often no birds at all; Unprecedented. Before the heavy snow two weeks ago I’d say there were birds (lots of) feeding 95% of daylight hours; now it must be nearer 50%.'
