22nd July '17 Saturday - Temminck's Stint

Lots of cloud with a cool wind and showers.

Celia Holmes
Your blogger and the committee were shocked and extremely sorry to hear today of the untimely death of long-time Club member Celia Holmes.  Jeff and Celia were on a butterfly trip in Bulgaria last week when the tour minibus skidded off the road and rolled down a slope.  Jeff survived with cuts and bruises but Celia's injuries were fatal.  An obituary will appear in the next issue of Club News; meanwhile we send our deepest sympathy to Jeff.
