Once the fog burned off, glorious sunshine and hot with a gentle SE breeze

Mass arrival of Sedge Warblers?
Merlin, Tree Pipits, Redstart, Whitethroat - Sand Point was the go-to spot for migrants today

Dipper, Grey Wagtail.

A bit quiet for the BOC walkers today: 1 Stock Dove, 3 Swallow, 1 Grey Wagtail, Blackcap singing, 1 Yellowhammer.

Stockwood: - Bifield Rd area

6 Canada Goose, 4 Greylag Goose (patch record count), 8 Skylark, 2 Swallow, 1 m. Redstart, 2 Blackcap, 2 Willow Warbler, 6 Chiffchaff, 3 Raven,5 Linnet.

Almondsbury:
Tawny Owl.

Portbury Wharf:
8 Shelduck - in pairs on the river off the salt flats.

NORTH SOMERSET:
Clevedon-Yeo:
possible (distant) Ruff, 3 Swallow, 3 Wheatear.

Sand Point: (the place to be this morning? - ed.)
1 f. Merlin, 2 Swallow, 2 Tree Pipit, 2 m. Redstart, 1 Whitethroat, 10 Willow Warblers. 4 Redpoll.

Worle:
25+ Swallow, 1-2 House Martin.

The "possible Cattle Egret" observed from the top of Dundry was almost certainly one of the 2 Little Egret found there later - tweeted record retracted.
