29th Oct '16 Saturday - White-tailed Eagle

Dull and murky all day but the birding was excellent.

Juv White-tailed Eagle seen again on the Avon border at Black Down.  Last reported flying over Cheddar Reservoir at 11.45 a.,m.  (5th local record, last 1927, 1945 for Somerset).

The Lesser Yellowlegs is still showing well at Cheddar Reservoir, along with Great White Egret and Yellow-browed Warbler.  6 Cattle Egrets remain in the Slimbridge area with another one near Westhay.  Let's find some more goodies in Avon!

One last picture of the Lesser 'Legs on the blog, since everyone is still down at Cheddar
