2/5/16 Ringed Plover at Portbury Dock (Mrs Trellis)
the colour-ringed bird was hatched here in 2011

River Avon: 4 Common Sandpiper this evening.

Redland (Bristol):
2 flyover Swift.

Shepperdine:
1 Wigeon still lingering on.

Oldbury Power Station:
9 Ringed Plover, 75 Dunlin, 10 Swift, 1 Sand Martin, 100 Swallow, 60 House Martin.

New Passage-Northwick:
2 Avocet, 1 Black-tailed Godwit on NW flash this afternoon. (Phil Baber). Birds later relocated towards Aust Warth.
Other stuff, 4 Canada Goose, 10 Gadwall, 10 Tufted Duck, 1 Merlin, 5 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Ringed Plover, 140 Dunlin, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 15 Whimbrel, 2 Swift, 5 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Grasshopper Warbler (by Chestle Pill outflow), 3 Wheatear.

24 Mute Swan, 15 Canada Goose (+ a brood of 6 goslings), 2 Shelduck, 2 Gadwall, 1 Pochard, 2 Grey Heron, 4 Hobby, 2 Common Sandpiper, 10 Swift, 6 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 1 Sedge Warbler, 5 Song Thrush, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Grey Wagtail.

Many 100's of Swift and Hirundines over the lake during the rain.
