Sightings 21/4/16

21/4/16 the Great Grey Shrike at Ubley Warren (Allan Chard)
present for several days now, hopefully it'll do the decent thing and wander into Avon...
Summary:
A brisk north-easterly breeze all day which is helping migration. Lots of Hirundines streaming through, especially along the coast. Hopefully, something really good will turn up in the mass.
Grey Plover, Bar-tailed Godwit and Whimbrel also on the move.

1 Great White Egret, 3 Red Kite and 3 Wood Warbler recorded today.

Combe Brook Valley: 1 Wood Warbler (Chris Trott).

Clifton (Bristol):
Cabot Tower: 1 Lesser Whitethroat.

Cribbs Causeway:
M5 J17: 1 flyover Great White Egret, towards Patchway 6.20pm (Paul Marshall).

Marshfield:
Shire Valley: 2 fly-through Red Kite 1.50pm and 3.20pm (Martyn Hayes).
Other stuff, 7 Buzzard of note.
