Aust Warth
11/3/16 lots of watchers out at Aust today
There was another massive tide at Aust this morning, flooding the saltmarsh and providing a rodent fest for predators. Fantastic light for the photographers too.
A 14.3m tide tomorrow 9.30am which should be just as good.

Stockwood (Bristol):
Open Space: 1 Buzzard, 22 Woodpigeon, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 20 Magpie, 2 Goldcrest, 5 Long-tailed Tit, 20 Blackbird, 3 Song Thrush, 4 Greenfinch, 3 Bullfinch.
Bifield Rd: 1 Raven, 1 singing Skylark, 8 Goldfinch.

Eastville Park (Bristol):
1 Firecrest still.

Stoke Bishop (Bristol):
Church Ave: 2 Blackcap, 12 Siskin.

Henbury (Bristol):
Moorgrove Wood: 1 singing Chiffchaff, presumed migrant new in.

Oldbury Power Station:
WeBS: 6 Shelduck, 122 Wigeon, 102 Teal, 17 Mallard, 8 Shoveler, 3 Tufted Duck, 2 Little Egret, 1 Ringed Plover, 4 Jack Snipe, 91 Snipe, 56 Curlew.
Other stuff, 1 Short-eared Owl (lagoon 3), 12 Skylark, 9 Redwing, 1 Water Pipit, 7 Reed Bunting.

Littleton Warth:
2 Raven.

Aust Warth:
No Short-eared Owl this morning but 120+ Wigeon, 20 Teal, 2 Little Egret, 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Merlin, 1 Avocet, 1 flyover Grey Plover, 150 Dunlin, 18 Snipe, 35 Redshank, 1 Barn Owl adequate recompense.

1 Peregrine, 1 Short-eared Owl this evening.

Beach Rd: 2 Dartford Warbler still, opposite Pontin's today.

Reports that there were 5 birds in the area last week, 3 birds along Beach Rd and a pair in the NT car-park. If anyone has details, please could you send them to us. Thanks.
