14/2/16 Bar-headed Goose (Gill Sapsed)
We do get a few Bar-heads turning up in the Gordano Valley from time to time over recent years. We suspect that they are not genuinely wild birds hot in from China, but more likely wanderers from an exotic wild fowl collection somewhere up on the Tickenham ridge.
We could be wrong of course.

Pike fishing next week so the gate to Nunnery should be open if you want to go loopy checking out the gull roost.
